Grey blending doesn’t have to mean going silver or white all over. Especially for the true brunette who still wants to feel like herself 🌊
She didn’t want white or silver everywhere. She wanted her grey to blend in, not take over.
So I toned her to a deeper silver while transitioning her out of her every 6 week root color cycle with a Full Custom Color.
Her base always fades red-brown 🤎 (totally normal and expected). Instead of covering her greys again, I let her natural silver thread quietly through her brunette.
Her skin completely balanced out. She truly was glowing 🤍
This is such a good example of how it’s not just skin tone that matters. Contrast matters just as much. Too heavy of a foil and too bright of a silver would’ve been too much of a shock for her. Not just visually. Too harsh on her whole face.
