I’m so happy fall is here and the weather is finally starting to cool down! Unfortunately, we get extended summer temps here in Florida, so we’ve still got a little while before the fear of melting makeup goes away. Living in the swamp, we are no strangers to humidity and sweat, so I take special care in making sure my clients’ makeup is staying put all day. It’s really important to use the right skin care for each person so we’re not adding too much moisture or over-mattifying, layer everything strategically, lock it all in with a cooling setting spray (thanks, ), and maybe say a couple prayers - just to be safe. I’m also obsessed with facial antiperspirant for an added layer of insurance, which is even great for those with hot flashes. Listen, I can’t guarantee you won’t turn into a puddle under the sun this season, but I can tell you that your makeup won’t.

My small business just passed its seven year anniversary as an official LLC a couple weeks ago!

I’m incredibly grateful that I’ve gotten to grow a career I love by throwing a little sparkly magic on each of my beautiful clients. The sense of accomplishment I feel when I see my brides’ beaming faces keeps me wanting to grow bigger and better, and I wouldn’t have the success I do without them.

A brand new EtherealJax.com was born today and I feel like Cinderella gazing at her new ball gown. I put a lot of work in making my website reflect the feelings I want to bring to each of my events and I hope you all love it as much as I do.
