When Jessie started noticing more of her natural gray coming in, she knew it was time for a change. Instead of continuing with the all-over chocolate brown, she wanted a softer, more seamless plan that would work with her natural hair instead of against it.

For her first gray blending session, Tati added soft, diffused highlights designed to blend with her incoming gray while helping transition the darker ends over time. The result is a natural-looking grow out that gives Jessie more freedom between appointments without sacrificing beautiful, dimensional color.

The walls are officially up. 🤍

Well… technically they’re framed, but after months of planning, permits, and waiting, we’ll absolutely take it.

As we’ve been watching the new salon start to come together, we found ourselves looking back through old photos. Swipe through to see the evolution of Steele Hair Gallery from the day we got the keys in 2014 to where we are today.

Every photo tells a story.

Fresh paint. New floors. New stations. A growing team. Little upgrades that turned into big transformations over the years. We never waited for the “perfect” salon to create something special. We simply kept building, improving, and dreaming a little bigger every chance we got.

Now we’re doing it one more time.

We still don’t have an official move-in date, but we do have an official move-out date. Thanks to our (future ex 😉) landlord, we’ll be handing over the keys to our current home on August 31st. So it’s officially race-to-the-finish-line season around here. And don’t worry, we have a backup plan in case our new space isn’t ready in time 🫶

It’s stressful. It’s exciting. And we cannot wait to welcome you into everything we’ve been working so hard to create.

One more thing… we’re thinking this place deserves a proper goodbye. 🤍 We’re planning a farewell happy hour before we close these doors for the last time, so stay tuned for details.
