“Yeah, I used tretinoin last night…”

One of my favorite things to ask before a facial: “What are you using on your skin at home?” Because I need to know ALL the things 😂

Tretinoin, retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, exfoliating pads… I need the whole skincare lineup before we get started!

If you’re using tretinoin, retinoids, or stronger exfoliants, I recommend giving your skin at least 7 days off before your facial (unless your prescriber has given you different instructions). Your skin may be more sensitive than usual, and I’d much rather adjust your facial than have you leave feeling irritated.

So when you book with me, please be honest about what you’re using at home — even if you think it’s “just a little retinol.” 😂 I’m not judging your routine! I just want to make sure I’m giving your skin the treatment it actually needs. 🤍

CE days = going back over things I learned in school… but taking a MUCH deeper dive this time 😂🧪

Currently working through chemistry in cosmetics, and it’s definitely making me think a little harder than my average skincare lesson. I already know the basics, but getting deeper into formulations, ingredients, pH, and why products behave the way they do is a whole different level.

It’s actually so interesting seeing the science behind things I use in my treatment room every day. Just when I think I’ve got it, the next section has me questioning everything 😂

Today I performed my first dermaplaning treatment and I’m SO excited to officially be adding this service to the Southern Peach Skin Bar menu! 🍑

Dermaplaning gently removes dead skin buildup + fine vellus hair (peach fuzz), leaving the skin feeling incredibly smooth, soft, and refreshed with that fresh ✨glow✨.

This was such a fun new skill to add to my services, and I can’t wait to start offering it to my clients! 🤍
