Emily is a hairstylist at Ivy House Salon in Jamestown, North Carolina Emily is passionate about building valuable relationships and trust with her guests.

She specializes in both cuts and color and enjoys working with all lengths and textures. Balayage, soft and natural lived-in colors, long layers, and short textured bobs are her thing. Helping folks feel confident in their at-home styling skills is one of her top priorities as the integrity and health of her guest's hair is of the utmost importance to her. I heard this song in worship today and felt convicted to share these photos of Logan. Even in the darkest days, God has never failed us, and He never will. God won’t fail you either—He hears your cries and will deliver you from your troubles.

I trust in God because He is who He says He is. He sent His only Son to earth to die for our sins so we could have eternal life with Him. All we have to do is trust and believe in Him! How incredible is His grace!

It’s because of God that our family has made it through this year. It’s because of God that Logan is healing and improving every day. It’s because of God that we have hope in eternal life with Him.

All glory and praise be to God 🙏🏽

(These photos were taken 5 months apart, after Logan’s first hospital stay in May. Healing eczema takes time and we still have a ways to go but our strength comes from our Heavenly Father.)

Closing a Chapter
Some of you are aware that we’ve been battling severe eczema with our son, Logan, since January. Three weeks ago we ended up being admitted to the hospital and spent several days in the ICU due to some additional health issues.

While we were eventually discharged and are now home, the underlying cause is still unknown. We’ll be working with specialists to navigate these health issues but his path to good health is still unclear.

So I’ve decided to step away from the chair indefinitely so that I can better care for Logan and support my family.

My life has been incredibly blessed by each and every one of you who’ve sat in my chair, and I’ll miss you all so very much.
