A LITTLE REMINDER FROM YOUR STYLIST/ARTIST 🖤

When you sit in my chair, I’m not just your stylist or artist. Somewhere along the way, I become your therapist on the rough days, your friend, your hype woman, your listener, and sometimes the person you tell things to that you probably wouldn’t tell anyone else. 😂

And honestly, I’m so incredibly grateful for that. Every single client who has walked through my doors has played a part in building The Studio, and I never take that for granted.

But I also want to remind you that behind the chair is a wife, a mother, and a business owner. My family will ALWAYS come first, and while I will always do my absolute best to accommodate my clients, I also have to maintain a healthy balance between my business and my family.

My schedule stays pretty booked, and I am forever grateful for that. 🖤 But when I receive messages with attitude or ugliness, as if I don’t work or as if I’m just sitting around waiting for appointments to fill my day… that friendship/stylist relationship can deflate real quick. 😘

For those who may not realize it, I typically work 35–42 hours a week, with 2 days sometimes being 12-hour days and 2 more being around 10-hour days. Occasionally, I get lucky enough to have a shorter 6–8 hour day. And during the holidays? Honey… 50–60 hour weeks are not uncommon. 😂

So yes, I work.
Yes, I’m busy.
Yes, I have a family.
And yes, this is a REAL JOB. 😂

I absolutely LOVE what I do, and I love the relationships I’ve built with so many of you. I’m thankful that you trust me with your hair, lashes, tattoos, brows, your stories, your tears, your celebrations, and everything in between.

Just remember — your stylist is a person too. We work hard, we have families, we get tired, and we’re doing our best to take care of everyone.

So please be patient. Please be kind. And before you send that spicy little message because I couldn’t squeeze you in exactly when you wanted… take a breath, babe. I’m probably already working. 😂🖤

If you’ve noticed your lash retention changing lately, don’t panic! Your lashes aren’t necessarily doing anything wrong — the transition from those hot, humid summer months into cooler, drier fall weather can affect your natural lashes and the way your extensions wear.

As we move from summer ➡️ fall, several things can contribute to changes in retention:

✨ Humidity levels change — Cooler, drier air can affect the moisture balance of your natural lashes.

🍁 Your natural lash shedding cycle continues — Seasonal changes can sometimes make shedding more noticeable, which means you may see more lashes in your brush or on your pillow.

🏡 Indoor heating begins — Dry indoor air from heaters can contribute to dryness around the eyes and lashes.

💧 Skin & oil production can change — Your skin may produce oil differently as temperatures and humidity shift, which can impact how long extensions stay attached.

🧥 Lifestyle changes matter too — More layers, scarves, hats, increased indoor time, skincare changes, and even changes in your daily routine can all play a role.

💕 HOW YOU CAN HELP YOUR RETENTION:

Moving forward, I will not book or hold appointments for permanent cosmetics, tattoos, or full lash sets without the required deposit being paid.

These appointments require a significant amount of time to be reserved specifically for you. The deposit helps protect my time and ensures that the appointment is taken seriously and that you intend to show up for your scheduled service.

My Cancellation Policy is also pinned for easy access. Before booking, you will have the opportunity to preview, read, and agree to the policy so there are no surprises regarding cancellations, rescheduling, or no-shows.
