One last post 🥲
We picked up our new camper so we squeezed in a last minute storybook land trip (my fav trip always🥹) then came back and parked straight out at spirtwood for two days of concerts, and family fun. Hairball went above and beyond and spoiled the kids rotten, guitar picks, drum sticks, the jewelry straight off their bodies and August even got to play guitar and go on stage 😂 everyone’s still talking about it and how amazing it was. My heart is so so full and just grateful for these three babies of mine 🩷
Now for the bittersweet stuff-
Sometimes I see things on social media and it wrecks me for a bit. Some things are heavy and believe it or not my feelings get hurt easily and sometimes the ones closest to me hurt me the most with their posts. I had something happen the other day that hurt me deep and I literally had to give it to God hard. It wrecked like a solid half of my day, so stupid I know..The next day I woke up and felt this huge relief and had this very clear image…
So after a lot of thought, I’ve decided to take a break from social media.. hopefully forever.
This isn’t goodbye—just a chance to spend a little more time living in the moments instead of sharing them.
Over the years, this space has connected me with so many wonderful people. I’ve loved sharing hair tutorials, salon life, gardening adventures, family moments, fitness classes, and all the little things in between. I’m incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and friendships that have come from being here.
Over the next week, I’ll be wrapping things up before deactivating my accounts. If you’re an existing salon client and need to reach me, please contact me directly by text or by calling 952-ASHY.
Thank you for following along and being part of this chapter. Maybe one day I’ll be back, but for now I’m looking forward to a little more privacy, a little less screen time, and a lot more presence in everyday life.
