We have a beautiful client here who wanted something fun and new before she left on vacation. My schedule was booked so she went to another stylist for a quick change. She did a great job but ultimately it wasn’t quite what this client was looking for.

One home glaze that turned green, then a box color over that, and then I was entrusted with a challenge that tickles me!

We had some banding, very uneven tones, some splotches, and a plethora of inspo pics to marry together. My main concern is always the health of the hair and the longevity of its health given what it’s been through, and how far I can push it.

We chilled for three and a half hours with lots of foils in highs and lows, and a perfectly customized glaze to ensure the brunette tones she was hoping for. Dont forget the layered cut that I perfectly nailed with ALL THAT HAIR. Then another two hours for a one row install of the hair we had installed last summer and took a break on.

This is the ish I love to do. Customizing, embracing the history of the hair, managing expectations, while also killing the end result. Not to mention, there’s a lot of beautiful bride energy these last few weeks and I LOVE IT 💍

Quick little bad photography/good hair post. I’m feeling hella grateful for another week of crazy catch up. I so appreciate all my lovely clients who roll with the punches with me. I appreciate you and I know you appreciate me too 🫶🏼

The one thing I’ve learned about myself the last few weeks is that I am tenacious. I have learned to take any negativity or hurt and use it to propel myself to better places by learning what I need to change, and by appreciating what doesn’t need to change.

Lots of changes coming and I’m ready to finish 2024 out with a bang 🧨

Got to spend a full day with this lovely lady for her new hair transformation 💕

We installed two rows of brunette dimensional wefts about a year ago. We were able to slowly lighten her over the last few months, and keep her extensions seamless, by swapping layout on her wefts. I typically mix anywhere from 2-4 colors on any given extension client. This gives lots of natural dimension, and ease of transition for an upcoming color change.

And who says you can’t wear your hair straight with extensions 💁🏻‍♀️. Anything is possible with 🤌🏼
