You’ll be your own worst critic, you’ll burnout. You’ll lose people. You are the photographer, you are the editor, you are the hairstylist. You are the DJ. You are the therapist. - Make sure you set your boundaries, and keep them.

Over a decade of photos & videos and only a handful posted - I jokingly say I’m a starving artist, in reality I am my own worst critic. I think I speak for everyone who is creative

I started doing hair when social media was at its peak, the transition from writing your Appointments down in a book, to putting it on your personal calendar in your phone, to online booking through an app. At least there’s some separation. Most people who are self employed have their business on their personal phone. It’s a lot sometimes. - To my self employed babes, please give yourself grace ♥️

I made a lot of mistakes, but for sure doing hair was not one of them. Im sitting back and reflecting everything that I’ve done, good and bad. & I want to share both sides moving forward. - What I do is the of my life. It’s all I ever wanted growing up. If you know me, you know that’s true. The little girl is so happy for me, and I think about her all the time.
