Activated Charcoal and Tea Tree Soap. Charcoal is most effective for people with acne-prone skin, as it gently exfoliates and draws out dirt, oil and makeup that can clog pores. Adding tea tree oil adds natural anti-fungal and antiseptic properties.

The antioxidants, stimulants, and chlorogenic acids found in coffee make it an effective acne-fighting agent. Acne can be exacerbated by excessive oil, dead skin cells and topically applied products that clog the pores.
