I have seen a post circulating about PEMF and Bodyworkers not being able to legally work in AL. So let me dive into this and clear things up.

PEMF is not associated with bodywork’s nor is it even considered in our state laws? Why because when discussing such events it was never a thing. Certified Equine and Canine Sport Massage Therapist (what will be recognized as bodyworkers in the context) and farriers are grouped together in our laws. Why? Because they have proved the 200+ learning and anatomy hours to preform such task. The law clearly states that each should work alongside or covered under a state certified veterinarian. Each individual should be in relationships with each clientele personal vet in my opinion. This not only covers you but I also build a history relationship of the animal and working alongside the animals caregivers is essential to the job. Could you imagine taking your horse to the vet the be shod by your vet personally? Comical isn’t it. Our brothers and sisters who have built these legacies have made sure bodyworkers and farriers are trained to the fullest to preform task without backlash worry. However, it’s highly important not to diagnose anything as we are not certified to do so. That’s where the vets comes into play. Saying a horse has thrush or that its brachi muscle is tight, is not diagnosing the animal.

Now onto PEMF. Under my knowledge no PEMF practitioner is require any training other than what is offered by Magnawave themself and the training only covers the machine (correct me if I am wrong.) With that being said how can you justify a service where you do not know how it fully effects the body, what muscles and nerves your touching or other health factors? If you have not had in-depth training to use the machine or know the anatomy then you should not be preforming such services. What I have discovered over the years is that they are selling a machine with no science to back it even works. I have also personally been called out by an equine owner and veterinarian to help assist in nerve damage to the cranial axis caused by PEMF. It is not a cure all and should not be used as such. Also it should not be used by uneducated people who are just trying to make extra cash. I am not bashing people who use PEMF I actually know several wonderful bodyworkers who implement it into their practice and have made it work effectively to their standards. However, they have also underwent the 200+ hours of training to know how to apply the PEMF effectively.

Our system is flooded with PEMF. There is damage being caused to animals due to lack of education on the proper use of the machine and anatomy. I think it’s very important to realize that it’s essential for the veterinarian board to want to look into and make judgments based off of their finding with the machines. I know a few veterinarians who do not recommend it then I also know a few who do. It just depends on their experience with it. I do think they should make it mandatory to have certain credentials before it can be purchased and not just open freely to the market. All the laws can be googled about such subjects. What are your thoughts?

Starting September 1st I will be RE-FLOCKING ENGLISH SADDLES!

I am so excited to add this service, however I want to explain to everyone how exactly I will be going about this with FULL and CLEAR information.

🩵 Saddle flocking services will ONLY be offered in addition to saddle fitting. This means I will not be flocking saddles unless I have seen, put hands on and saddle fitted your horse. Flocking is not a one service fits all. Flocking is designed to make sure the wool is fitted properly to your horse and their anatomy. It is highly important that your saddle fits your horses needs and I will take that very seriously. All horses will have to undergo a saddle fitting evaluation before saddles will be taken in for service. All measurements and fitting information will be available to the owner as always!

🔥 Additionally, this is not a saddle repair service. I can not and will not fix broken or damaged parts to the saddle that was there before I received it. I will however make sure your saddle is returned to you cleaned, oiled and covered!

💚 All saddle fitting prices will stay the same at $130 per 2 saddles. $180 per 4 saddles and $230 per 6 saddles. The additional flocking price will be determined based upon the saddle’s condition and hours spent to re-flock from start to finish.

I can not wait to serve everyone and their horses needs with this new service. I have enjoyed saddle fitting everyone’s horses over the years and I look forward to many more. 🩷

Had a wonderful night with this group for the Spring show in TN. It’s always great getting to work on show horses, even better when it’s for a wonderful group of people.
