What made you choose a career in Cosmetology? Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve dreamed of becoming a cosmetologist.

What is one way Merrell University has prepared you for the beauty industry? Merrell University has made me feel more confident and prepared by allowing me to express my creativity, develop my skills, and help others feel beautiful.

What are some of your passions/ hobbies outside of Cosmetology? One of my passions and hobbies is walking outside in nice weather, which helps me relax and enjoy nature. I also love spending time with family and friends, which keeps me grounded and happy.

What are a few characteristics about yourself that will make you successful in the beauty industry? Three characteristics that will help me succeed as a cosmetologist are that I’m driven, pay close attention to detail, and am punctual.

What is your favorite retail product? Amika The Wizard
