I’ve been spending a lot of time praying over this next step.

I have loved this journey as a hairstylist and makeup artist. Over the last seven years, it has provided not only my livelihood but also a creative outlet that has shaped me in ways I never expected. We often talk about how creativity impacts those who experience it, but not how deeply it transforms the one creating.

I’ve had the privilege of helping women and men find confidence through color, cuts, makeup, and sometimes through the hardest conversations. I’ve celebrated new marriages, first-time parents, and fresh starts. I’ve also sat with people through divorce, the loss of loved ones, and children lost to addiction.

Every conversation and every appointment helped prepare me for this next season. I don’t take lightly that so many of you entrusted me with your stories, your confidence, and pieces of your heart. And to those who have asked to stay connected—whether through YouTube tutorials or simply following whatever comes next—thank you. Your kindness has meant more than you know. 🤍

With that said, I’ve decided to step away from these platforms. I don’t know if it’s forever or simply for this next season. As I’ve grown, I’ve realized how deeply I value privacy and the ability to choose what I share. As much as I love educating and connecting with others, it’s time to close this chapter and begin a new one.

To every client, past and present: thank you. Your loyalty, encouragement, referrals, and trust have shaped me into the woman I am today. Any success I’ve experienced has been because of you.

I’ll leave this page up as I finish my time at Locks By BJ and Co. and share a few final creations. After that, I’ll be stepping into my little cocoon of privacy and safety, surrounded by the people I love most.

I love you all dearly, and I hope our paths cross again someday.

This has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you. As a licensed hairstylist and makeup artist, my goal is to bring professional beauty education right to your screen and help you achieve salon-quality results at home.

I already have several more tutorials in the editing process, with plenty more planned to record, and I can’t wait to keep growing this channel with you!
