Traffic switch to Phase 2 on U.S. Route 54 expected to take place the week of Sept. 16.

U.S. Route 54 will remain one lane in each direction in a head-to-head configuration from south of the Missouri River to Missouri Boulevard, however, all traffic will be shifted to the westbound lanes and three ramps will be closed:
- EB U.S. Route 54 to Missouri Boulevard.
- EB U.S. Route 54 to U.S. Route 50.
- WB U.S. Route 54 to West Main Street.

The speed limit in the work zone will continue to be 35 mph. Buckle Up. Phone Down. Slow Down in Work Zones.
