To respect their privacy, I took a photo this way. These two step-siblings were awesome and I loved teaching them how to style their hair, and instill how it’s okay to carry yourself however you want.

They reminded me a lot of myself and my brothers when we were teenagers, just trying to feel happy and comfortable however we wanted to have our hair, and dress how we wanted. I’m so grateful to see families that are encouraging each other to just BE YOU
