I will now be located in Grafton at Designs by Deseray - Grafton,IL

If you have not yet checked it out… she holds a makers space and also has local artisans in her building!

I unfortunately had a few shoppers a few years ago when I first started this adventure. The person who gave me a 1 star review purchased my items, I shipped it out timely and within a few hours of her obtaining her order wrote me and my review. This is a sad post for me! I have made the decision to remove my items from The Sunshine Boutique in Jerseyville. I am still making all your beeswax and simmer pot items....Don't worry! Right now I will be in there till the end of May!! So go check out my stuff!

Welcome! My name is Rachel and I am the owner and creator at Hand Poured Apothecary! We are happy to have you all here in this relaxing space! I aim to create items that are closer to nature and really pride myself in shopping and supporting local.
My beeswax comes directly from my uncle- a Jersey county IL beekeeper. I purchase the beeswax in the condition that comes directly from the hive and take the time to make it clean and beautiful for you! Beeswax mimics the sun as it burns bright. IT also can purify the air and burn much longer than a traditional candle.
Lets talk about the simmer mixes- I dehydrate all of my own fruit! This insures that each fruit is kept in its most natural way as it fills your home.
