If you’ve made your way down Orange street recently I’m sure that you’ve notice the for sale sign in place of the Brad Tootle presents The Bee Hive Salon & Esthetics sign… and so much praise is in order.

The Bee Hive Salon & Esthetics was a dream I never thought possible. I grew up in poverty, addiction, abuse and the thought that I could never be a business owner.

On Feb 26th of 2024 I got a phone call from the lady who lead me to Christ in 2010. She said “are you coming to see me today?” “I can! Do you need some help?” I replied. She took a breath and said “No, I was praying last night and I heard the lord tell me to give you $2,000. I have it here in an envelope and I need you to come get it…” little did she know I was 4 days away from opening the doors and signing the lease for the building that would become The Bee Hive and I was $2,000 short.

If the Bible says that he goes before us to prepare a way, then surely this is an example. That following him is always the best way and when he makes a way sometime it literally looks like a stream in the desert. I may not have always been a good follower, but he is always going and asking me to follow.

In that spirit I’m grateful to say that God is good and his timing is perfect. With a new season comes a new name and a new location. I’m please to humble myself and go back to the basics of just being Brad Tootle. While The Bee Hive has seen many prayers, tears, salivations, revelations and unforgettable memories, it unfortunately is just a building and can not speak to witness to glory of those tales. I, however, can. And will. In our new location at 256 N. Macon Street. Jesup, Ga 31545. At Macon Street Commons.

Brad Tootle feat. Ava Grace Beauty will carry the posture and heart that has driven me for 18 years In the beauty industry. Where we expect to serve you during your scheduled appointment time, upon arrival and waiting is the exception and not the rule. Where double booking only occurs when a husband and wife want to spend time together in the serenity of our suite. Where the vibe says “we value your time more than we value your money.” The days of waiting 30 minutes, spending 3 hours, Being shuffled around like a deck of cards and feeling like you’re just a number can come to an end. This move is a praise for what God has done and an attempt to get back to the hearts of people.

To every person who cast a shadow on the door of The Bee Hive Salon & Esthetics, Thank you. Employees. Friend. Clients. Visitors. Curious people just asking questions. It doesn’t matter. You gave me the opportunity to grow and glean and draw closer to our almighty king. You are the reason that I still love what I do after 18 years.

I am humbled so low by the love and support of this community. You have witnessed a broken little boy walk through so many seasons and you have been an example of Roman’s 2:4. “It is the kindness of God that leads to repentance.” Truly you have shown it, but more importantly, I received it. May God have the glory and may you all continue to be blessed.
