My lovely guest is an ’80s Bon Jovi–loving gal, so naturally we had to give these curls a little rock ’n’ roll. 🤘🎸
Her curls are basically the perfect ’80s perm — except they’re all hers! We added lots of layers and soft bangs so she can wear it big and bold for a Bon Jovi concert, or simply air-dry for soft, carefree curls that stay out of her eyes.
For styling, I used Innersense I Create Volume paired with Innersense Air Dry Styling Cream. This combo gives her just enough cast for definition and hold — and that cast lasts amazingly well!
Big hair. Soft curls. Easy styling. And definitely Bon Jovi approved. ❤️🔥

“I have Irish curls.” 🍀
That’s exactly how my client described her hair when she came in.
She wanted something fun, so I created a modern s**g designed specifically for her unique curl pattern. Then I taught her how to elongate the curls underneath while encouraging more curl and lift through the top layers, creating a style where her straighter top layers and curlier underneath blended together naturally.
Healthy curls are never one-size-fits-all. ✨
Sometimes different areas of the hair need completely different care, products, and techniques to bring the curls back to life. Watching clients begin to understand their own curls and gain confidence styling them at home is one of my favorite parts of what I do. 💛
