Frequently asked Questions

* if I’m getting married when is the best time to book my spray tan
I would say you want to keep your rehearsal dinner in mind we recommend 2 to 3 days before the event. If you want to be tanned for the rehearsal dinner, then I would book it a day before the rehearsal dinner.

* If I’m going on vacation, how many days prior should I book my spray tan?
for a vacation Tan we recommend one day before!

* how many days will my spray tan last? Everyone is different but as long as you make sure that you take care of your Tan properly it will last you at least 5 to 7 days sometimes 7 to 10 days!

* can I still tan in the sun? If I have a spray tan yes, you can absolutely still tan in the sun. Naturally a spray tan is not a base tan!  we recommend applying a spray tan approved sunscreen (Sun Bum lotion version) to protect your tan in the ocean, pool and hot tub

* I want to be dark but I don’t wanna be orange….
I know this is one of my favorite lines but we ran out of orange back in the 90s when booking with a spray tan artist we are trained and have lots of experience with different skin types, and tones we mix the solution off of your skin, tone, undertone, and desired results. The only way that a spray tan would result in an orange brassy hue would be because it is over processed or you’ve used a bottom of the barrel solution which we do not use.

* What should I wear while getting sprayed?
I tell everyone I have been a spray tan artist for 14 years and do not have any comfort rules. Some of my girls wear just their underwear. Some of them go naked some of them wear their underwear and bra it is completely up to you.

 * what should I bring for a change of clothes?
I cannot stress this one enough. Please make sure that you wear loose baggy dark clothing after your appointment. This does not allow the spray tan to develop properly! Just remember, we are all about you looking cute, but to achieve those flawless results you want to FOLLOW THE RULES

* A spray tan should be the last of your beauty appointments always do lashes brows waxing nails prior to your appointment.

* Can I use over-the-counter lotion or soap?  suggested Hempz lotion or Others listed in the page

* When booking our sweat resistant spray tan, we get asked a lot if they can work out after the answer is no you are not able to work out until after your first rinse that is when the sweat resistant ingredient activates! 

* when will I be able to rinse off my tan?
At this point I have Spray Tanning down to a complete science. I always will ask my girls a few questions. Where are they going? What are they wearing and how dark do they want to be with that in mind will then ask them when will they want to conveniently rinse?  by the answer of that question I am able to customize the solution to your convenience for our first time or clients. I do prefer that they rinse before bed. This helps avoid you touching your skin while you were sleeping and ending up with spray tan on the bottoms of your hands.

* Can I get a spray tan if I’m pregnant?
yes, you are able to spray tan while being pregnant I personally spray tanned until the day before I delivered. Our solution is top-tier premier solution line. It is water-based in absolutely Prego safe!

* if I’m breast-feeding, what is the best way in time to get a tan?
I would recommend pumping before coming in which would mean you have at least 4 to 6 hours to allow the Tan) to develop properly. If you do not pump I have gotten very crafty to say the least, and figure out how to cover the ni**le so that the baby won’t have a tan face 😂

* if I have a skin condition such as eczema is it OK for me to still get a spray tan?
I like to be upfront and honest with my girls. I think that if you have a skin condition it is best to do a trial tan if it is for an event, your skin can be extremely temperamental and although, we have a lot of tricks. Sometimes they don’t work out I have successfully sprayed lot of women that have eczema psoriasis, etc..

* is there an age limit on a spray tan? absolutely not I spray the Young and the older I’ve developed lot of great techniques on the mature skin, meaning skinfolds, age spots, sunspots, etc.

* if I play sports should I book my Tan) after practice? 1000%  even if you come straight from practice it is best to make sure that your skin is prepped properly before your competition or event at practice or a game. You’re obviously running around and friction and sweat can be a huge factor so if you have the ability, make sure that you book your tan after practice!

*  will the spray tan stain my clothes? We have not had any issues with spray tan staining clothes! Again we use a water-based solution if it does happen to get on anything then just throw it in the wash with OxiClean and it will be as good as new.
