I don’t think I’ve even had time to process how fast this week happened. 😂

But there’s a reason we’re moving this fast.

The next chapter is CLOSE. 👀

Friday at 8 PM, I’m finally announcing our official Grand Opening date. 🥳

Then the REAL countdown begins.

And trust me, I have a whole lot more to show you than construction updates. 🤎

New estheticians and nail techs, this is something I wish more people talked about. 👀

I hear all the time how hard it is to get your foot in the door in the beauty industry. Now that I’ve spent more time on the employer side, I’ve realized something:

Sometimes it isn’t your lack of experience keeping you from getting the position.

Employers notice the little things.

Did you completely fill out the application?

Did you check the email address you provided after applying?

Did you respond when the employer reached out?

Did you show up on time?

Did you take a few minutes to research the business before your interview?

Did you communicate professionally?

Did you follow through when you said you were interested?

You would be surprised how much simply being responsive, reliable and genuinely interested can make you stand out.

And one of the biggest things I’ve noticed is how much communication has changed. So many of us live by text now and barely think about our inboxes. But if you’re actively applying for positions, check your email regularly. Many businesses still use email for interview invitations, follow ups and employment information.

For newer professionals trying to break into this industry, please don’t underestimate the basics.

Your talent might get an employer’s attention.

Your professionalism, communication and reliability can be what turns an opportunity into a career. 🤍

This little girl has no idea how much of The Rejuvenated Mama exists because of her. 🤎

Becoming her mom changed everything. It changed the way I saw self care, the way I saw motherhood, and eventually, the kind of business I wanted to build.

I never wanted moms to have to choose between doing something for themselves and being a mom.

And now we’re getting ready to open a whole new Rejuvenated Mama built around that idea. A beautiful spa for YOU, childcare when you need it, a space for our community, and experiences where sometimes your little bestie gets to come along too. 🥹

And lucky for Rebekah 😂 she’s going to be the one helping plan all of our fun events and girls’ nights… but first, she needs to know what y’all actually want!
