RBC is passing the torch to Twisted & Used — an original metal band straight out of Johnstown, PA! 🤘
Formed in 2006, Twisted & Used stayed active until 2013, when they went on a long hiatus. After nearly a decade away, they’ve reunited to support the local music scene—and they’re back with force.
With multiple releases across all major streaming platforms, fans can explore their full-length album Heaven’s Descent (2012) and their brand-new EP Heir Apparent (2025).
Their sound is best described as riff-driven, with melodic grooves and aggressive dual vocals. Song themes range from finding self-worth through anger (No Place, Destroy, This Conversation is Over), to their love of horror genres (Burnt Bliss, Undead Discussion), and, of course, fan favorites like Whiskey is Mandatory, Matty 6:5, and Scene.
