Soooo… we got these beautiful jumbo sticks instead of the size we ordered—and, as usual, the company won’t take them back. 😅 So naturally, my formulating wheels started turning!

How would you all feel about an Intense Hydration Stick made especially for dry, cracked heels and hardworking feet?

I’m envisioning something deeply moisturizing, rich and protective, with very little fragrance—just serious hydration where you need it most. I’m even considering lanolin for this special formula because of the way it helps soften and protect severely dry skin.

As you know, we normally avoid animal-derived ingredients, so this would be a limited, clearly labeled option specifically for those who are comfortable using lanolin and need something extra intensive.

Think: swipe it directly onto heels, feet, elbows or other stubborn dry spots—no digging into a jar and no lotion under your nails.

Its prayer-like posture has also made it a symbol of reflection, spiritual connection, and blessings. Even the word mantis comes from a Greek word meaning “prophet” or “seer,” representing foresight and the ability to recognize the path ahead.

Sunday creating looks a little different around here…

I have product that needs to be made today, but first, I’m giving this wreath a little refresh for the rest of July and August. 🌿🌻
My gma Harris loved sunflowers-I wasn’t close with her, but still loved her and when I see things that remind me of her-I miss those times-even if she was spicy ! lol

Creating doesn’t always happen in a jar. Sometimes it looks like flowers scattered across the floor, twine everywhere, a hot-glue gun plugged in, and me changing my mind seventeen times before it feels just right. 😂

I love taking something I already have and breathing a little new life into it. That’s really what Alchemist Haven is all about—creating beauty, finding inspiration in nature, and making ordinary things feel a little more magical.

Once this is finished, it’s back to stirring, pouring, blending, napping 😴, planting a few remaining plants I have and making all the lovely things for the week ahead. Also, just getting to sit and look around the home I never get to see. Home is such a blessing.
Also Haven starts her braces journey tomorrow-say a prayer for us.🙏
