It had been about 2 years since the last time I did her hair. (Did I take a before pic? Of course not)

Goals: bright blonde, but lived in + bright ends + subtle money piece. She was basically 75% virgin hair with subtle blonde on the ends.

Life lately 🫶🏻

As many of you know I lost my husband Cohen earlier this summer in a motorcycle accident. After taking a month away from work, I’ve slowly been easing back into a normal schedule.

Over the past few months, I’ve been focusing on healing in the ways that have helped me most: spending time with friends and family, planning girls’ trips, getting out in nature, and going to therapy with the absolute best therapist.

I can’t thank you all enough for the love, kindness, and support you’ve shown me. It has meant more than I could ever put into words.

Many of you have heard that our stylist, Kelsey, is facing an unimaginable tragedy right now with the sudden loss of her husband, Cohen. As she takes the time she needs to grieve, you guys have been looking for ways to support her.

When Kelsey is ready to return behind the chair, one of the most meaningful ways you can help is by continuing to trust her with your hair. Your loyalty and support will make the biggest difference for her right now.

Kelsey is such a great stylist, friend, coworker, and she’s one of the strongest people we know. She endured profound loss with the passing of her first husband, Nick, just 3 years ago. She had to work incredibly hard to rebuild her business after watching much of her clientele disappear. No one should have to face that burden while navigating loss of this magnitude.

One of the best things about this industry is the relationships that are built. When Kelsey is ready to return, we hope her chair is filled with the familiar faces who have trusted her through the years. That kind of support provides more than a paycheck…it offers comfort & stability, and it’s a reminder that she is deeply valued by the people she has spent so many years caring for. 🤍

Cohen’s funeral will be held on Saturday, June 6.

My husband Cohen was in a motorcycle accident Friday and was life flighted to Springfield.

This morning around 11:30 am we made the hardest decision ever to take Cohen off life support. His brain injuries were too severe, and there was no path to recovery.

Cohen passed very peacefully tonight. I sat by his side and held his hand all day today. He was never alone while off life support. We were listening to his favorite old man country songs, just the two of us as he passed… just like our favorite past time, country drives out to Kansas to watch the sunset. He did not struggle at all.

Cohen Christopher Bellew… you weren’t supposed to leave us this soon. Thank you for letting me be your wife. I love you.

Funeral arrangements will be announced soon, and he will be laid to rest in his hometown of Texarkana, Arkansas.

I’ve been posting this on my stories, but wanted to make a post on here in case you didn’t see it!

Effective June 1st:

In order to keep my packages all-inclusive, I've made a small adjustment to my color package pricing due to rising supply and business costs.

My packages remain the same and include everything you need: your color, haircut, and conditioning treatment.

I'm committed to transparent pricing and creating an experience where everything you need is included so you always feel your investment is truly worth it.

Many of my clients rotate between all three packages throughout the year! Most don't need a full Signature color every visit.

If you ever need to switch things up for time or budget just message me! I’ve got options for you!

Gray blending!!

If you’re starting to get a few grays but still want low-maintenance, lived-in color, you still have options!

This technique blends your natural base into lighter dimension like a typical lived-in color, while strategically placing brightness where your grays are most prevalent.

It’s a great option for girls who only have a few grays and want to avoid the harsh grow out line that comes with traditional gray coverage. You’ll still see a few peeking through (see last picture), so keep in mind this isn’t meant to be a 100% cover-up.

Enhancing your natural color while keeping it soft, seamless, and low maintenance will always be one of my favorite things to do behind the chair.
