I wanted to provide a little more context regarding my limited availability before my leave of absence.

Many of you have reached out about scheduling appointments, using gift certificates, memberships, and packages, and I am truly grateful for your support.

The reality is that since Matty's epilepsy has progressed, my availability has become extremely limited. Because he has not been cleared to travel to his father's home, he is with me for every appointment. In order to minimize his seizure risk, we are working hard to keep him in familiar environments and maintain as much routine and stability as possible.

Stress and changes in routine are seizure triggers for him, which means every appointment requires careful planning around his needs, medical appointments, medications, and overall well-being. In addition, we are preparing for his upcoming procedure, which has required even more of my time and attention.

Please know that I am doing my best to accommodate those with memberships, packages, and gift certificates, but my available appointment times are extremely limited. If we are unable to find a time that works before my leave, your sessions, credits, memberships, and gift certificates will remain on file and can be used when I return.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and grace during this season. My clients have always been important to me, but right now my first priority has to be making sure my son is safe, healthy, and supported.

At this time, I no longer have any available appointments before I begin my leave of absence to focus on caring for my son.

If you currently have a package, gift certificate, membership, or prepaid appointment, please reach out to me as soon as possible so we can discuss scheduling options.

Otherwise, my books are officially closed at this time.

After much prayer and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to TEMPORARILY step away from massage therapy beginning July 15.

As many of you know, my son Matty has epilepsy. Over the past several months, his condition has progressed, and our family is preparing for an upcoming procedure as we work with his medical team to find the best path forward. Right now, he needs my time, attention, and support more than ever.

This decision was not made lightly. The She Shed has been such a blessing in my life, and I am incredibly grateful for every person who has trusted me with their care and supported my small business.

Please know that The She Shed is NOT closing. This is simply a temporary leave so I can focus on my family during this season. My hope is to return once Matty's health is more stable and we have adjusted to the next steps in his care.

If you currently have a gift certificate, package, or account credit, I encourage you to schedule as soon as possible. If you are unable to book before July 11, your remaining sessions and gift certificates will remain on file for future use.
