She’s starting her new year off by getting rid of those dead and split ends. First pic is a 3 months difference from when I trimmed her ends in October.

She came back to me in January and we did a blow out and a soft press so that I could see the true split ends. As you can see in 3 months her split ends traveled up tremendously.

She was getting braids and also not coming in at the proper time to get maintenance done. We both came up with a plan to obtain her goal to retain moisture and grow her hair back out.

She has decided to stop getting braids(adding hair) for an entire year and to only do two strand twists. I also will be holding her accountable to come in every 8 weeks for a trim( 1/2 or less). I can’t wait to see the outcome and the progression of her hair.

When getting braids or adding hair it’s a lot harder to retain moisture especially on the ends of your hair. Whatever chemicals and fibers they use to make kanekalon hair can cause your hair to dry out and cause further damage if you’re not on a hair care routine.
