Ms. Annie Igoe 💜. For those of you who don’t know her I would like to introduce you to Annie she was a soul sister to me & one of the greatest inspirations. She inspired me to get on the plane & travel to India by myself. She inspired me to face my fears & start my first business Dancing Cranes Salon & Apothecary which is now ……I then started Suzanne’s Organics Salon because of the link to toxic chemicals in beauty care products and breast cancer. Annie left her body on November 7th 2006 she was 37 years old after a long battle with breast cancer that had metastasized to her brain. Today- I feel her presence with me on my 55th birthday. She would want me to pump up the jams & put my dancing shoes on -for life is to be celebrated!!! We must face our fears, keep our heart open, listen to it & then follow its wisdom, take risks & do what we know is right for us. Do not let what other people think make your decisions for you. There are no guarantees how long you will be here so don’t let the past define your future it is simply a chapter preparing you for the next. Follow the fun, let go of grudges (this one I’m working on-no one is perfect)get your mammogram & vote! I love you all!!!

My beautiful Mother Dianne! Missing her today, she left her body on March 22nd. I will remember her grace, style & how she preferred to laugh at the craziness of life. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2018 we learned so much from her especially as she navigated her disease. There were times she cried, was angry, felt frustrated & defeated yet through it all she would accept, let go and be grateful for her life & those around her. ❤️

Thank you all for your love, support, compassion and for sharing your stories of loss there is something comforting in our shared human experience that allows our heart to heal. It has been a long journey since her Alzheimer’s diagnosis in 2018, I am grateful to have had more time to spend with her over these past few years. Today I am thinking of how she liked to laugh even in the midst of difficulty. Love you Mom!

Reservations (through the Resy app) will open later today for JUNE 25TH and forward. We offer DINNER reservations ONLY day hours are walk-in only.

Hours starting Friday June 25th will be:
Wednesday-Fridays 11-9
Saturdays 9-9
Sundays 9-2 serving breakfast only.
We will have reduced seating so please please be patient as we navigate our “new normal”
