Apparently I’ve been doing nails instead of posting them, so here’s a little nail dump from the last few months ✨

I’m still behind the nail desk 2 days a week and, with my snowbirds starting to fly south, so I actually have a little room for some new clients!

I’ve been putting a lot of energy into some other career paths lately, and while I genuinely don’t think I’ll ever not do nails, this lighter schedule is probably a pretty good glimpse of what my nail life will look like going forward. 🫶🏼

That being said… HALLOWEEN NAIL SEASON IS COMING and I am ready to rock ‘N roll! 👻 Bring me the weird ideas. Bring me the tiny ghosts. Bring me the blood. Bring me the ridiculous Pinterest screenshot you think is “probably easy.” 😂

✨ A little reminder that Artistry has never meant just one thing to me.

Most of you know me for nails, and I absolutely love creating behind my nail table. But creativity has always spilled into every part of my life.

Lately that’s looked like painting, mosaics, DIY projects, landscaping, home design, and turning ordinary things into something beautiful. This birdbath is one of my newest creations, and honestly... I had so much fun making it.

The best part? Almost every piece of it was thrifted, found, or rescued from ending up in a landfill. Old dishes, glassware, shells, stones, and forgotten treasures were given a second chance to become something beautiful. I love the challenge of seeing potential in things others might overlook.

I want this page to be more than just nails. I want it to be a place where I share whatever I’m inspired to create, learn, or build. Whether it’s tiny details on a nail, a mosaic project, a thrift flip, or a weekend spent transforming my yard, it’s all art to me.

So welcome to my little creative corner. 💕

I’m heartbroken to share the sudden loss of my coworker, Robert Prescott. We worked together since 2017, but this last year we became truly close. Robert was a talented hairdresser with a deep passion for his craft and a genuine gift for connecting with people. Our little salon family is broken—we’re missing a huge part of it. I’ll deeply miss his energy and our conversations—the deep ones and the silly ones. The world feels less safe without him. Rest easy, buddy. Gone too soon. .prescott

Getting back into nails these last couple months has felt really good 🤍

After my accident, I didn’t know how I’d feel jumping back in—but having a lighter schedule has honestly been a blessing. I get to slow down, focus on my clients, and actually enjoy the work again.

Burnout in this industry is real (I’ve been there), but this feels like a reset.

Super grateful for the clients I have and the sets I get to create 🫶

Well, hello family, friends, and followers…
If you missed my story from a couple days ago, you may not know that I was in a serious 🚔car accident on Wednesday. A young driver ran a stop sign and, in a panic, I was trying to prevent the inevitable T-bone crash so I laid on my horn like it was going to magically stop the car… or summon a guardian angel. Instead, the airbag said “LET ME HELP YOU WITH THAT” and basically high-fived my hand into oblivion.

The result? Broken pinky. Broken wrist. Dislocated wrist. Broken forearm. Basically my whole arm said, “We’re clocking out.”

Silver lining: my daughter wasn’t in the car, and my sweet Frenchie, Neo, strutted away like nothing happened. A kind bystander even dog-sat while I was collecting myself. Meanwhile, my car… yeah, she didn’t make it. RIP to her contribution to society.

I can’t be grateful enough for all the things that didn’t happen. I still have my life, I still have my legs, and hopefully I’ll still have clients to come back to when I’m able. But with these injuries, I’ll be out a minimum of 6️⃣six weeks. In a perfect world, I’ll be back by then—but realistically it could be up to three months. I genuinely don’t know what the future holds.

Also—thank God for insurance. I won’t have income for a while, but eventually I should receive some lost wages.

I’ve put together a list of amazing nail techs who’ve assured me they have availability. I’ve included their numbers on the next page so you can still get taken care of while I recover. I will also include some booking links in the comments.
