I think sometimes growth gets confused with ego.

But signing myself up for the tears, the hard conversations, the mistakes, the pressure, and figuring things out as I go has never felt like ego to me.

If anything, this has humbled me more than anything ever has.

I’ve had to ask for help. Admit when I don’t know something. Learn things I never thought I’d need to know. Make decisions that scare me and still trust myself enough to keep going.

And yes, I’m young.

But being young doesn’t mean I don’t know what I’m doing.

I don’t know everything. I’m still learning literally all the time. But I know what I care about, I know the standard I want to set, and I know how seriously I take the people who trust me.

None of this came from thinking I’m better than anyone.

It came from wanting more. For myself, for my team, for our clients, and for the kind of industry I want to be part of.

This one was less about adding more hair and more about figuring out what her hair could actually handle.

She had been dealing with alopecia, slipping, heaviness… basically all of the things that make you start wondering if extensions are even worth it.

So instead of just adding more hair and hoping for the best, I changed the placement and redistributed the weight based on what her natural hair could safely support.

She still got the fullness she wanted, just without ignoring what her scalp was already telling us.

And when she said, “No one has ever been this gentle on my hair,” that pretty much summed up the whole appointment.

Pretty hair is great. Protecting the hair underneath it matters more.
