Checked off a major bucket-list item—and feeling incredibly rich in life. Years ago, Anthony walked into the shop where I was cutting hair, and many moons later, here we are: chosen family, jumping out of a plane together.

I can’t even put the feeling or the experience into words. One heck of a lunch break, if you ask me because in true Pink Barber fashion I was in the shop a hour later.

Thank you to Falcon Sky Dive; my husband for being there to support me and Anthony for showing me to fear nothing other than God.

If I could sit down with 17-year-old me, fresh in the industry, I’d tell her that our dreams came true—and then some. ✨

Because of the loyalty and support you’ve shown me over the years, it’s important that I continue making my existing clients my top priority. You have kept me booked, busy, and able to do what I love every day, and I am incredibly grateful for that.

As my schedule continues to fill, my focus will remain on serving and accommodating the clients who have trusted me with their hair and supported my business throughout the years. I never want to become the kind of barber who forgets the people who helped build their business.

💈 The Pink Barber KCMO 💈

Today was truly one for the books. Opening my in-home barbershop has been incredibly meaningful and comforting, as I grew up watching my Gigi run her own in-home shop. Being able to carry on that tradition while creating a safe, welcoming space for my clients means everything to me. Even more, it allows me to serve my clients well while being fully present for my children.

My clients made this day unforgettable. From my original supporters to the new faces who walked through the door, I am so grateful for each of you. I was also touched by a sweet surprise from my wonderful friend and neighbor, who stopped by with her precious daughter—moments like that make this journey even more special.

I could not have done any of this without my husband, Zack. He has worked tirelessly alongside me to prepare the shop and take care of every detail. His unwavering support and belief in my career have meant more than words can express.

Here’s to 2026 and what I hope will be the best year yet behind the chair. Thank you all for being part of this journey with me. 💙💈❤️
