I completely understand the urge to cut your own bangs, I do it about once a week!
I have been loving my short hair, but the bangs are no joke on the upkeep.
If you also have bangs, I do offer bang trim in between haircut appointments.😉

Love freshening up her hair with the deep rich black to contrast with pops of vibrant green, carefully placed to add that perfect edge. Those bangs are just the cherry on top!💚

Major hair goals! Sculpted this beautiful bob and infused it with the most gorgeous, multi-dimensional golden blonde. The way the light catches every strand is just mesmerizing. Feeling so inspired by this transformation!✨

Hair like this takes time and a lot of work!💪🏼 I always love to be open and honest with my clients before starting big projects like these. I’m open about expectation of the final product, the price, the length of time in my chair, the aftercare & up keep. I want you to leave loving & trusting me with your hair!

The toner at the end of a lightening service is everything! It’s what gives you what you want!
That’s why showing pictures at the beginning of an appointment is so important to know what tone of blonde or brunette you are looking for.
Coming in for a gloss in between the big appointments also helps with the longevity of your hairstyle.
I understand not everyone knows hairstylist lingo. Cool toned hair can mean something completely different to me versus you. That’s why pictures can help with the language of hair!

As someone who grew up watching YouTube videos and teaching myself so much about my own hair it is crazy how outdated hair school is!
I started out as a night student, so I was surrounded by other adults, which was amazing cause we learned a lot from each other.
But when I switched to becoming a day student to get done faster, it felt like I was thrown back into high school.
The things they taught us were things I was not gonna use outside of hair school. Very old techniques that no one uses any more, very one way of thinking. Didn’t learn about different types of hair until the end of me being there so I didn’t get the full education for it.
They loved to reinforce the toxic salon environment. Being really petty and caddy towards each other, that you don’t deserve a lunch break, that you should work back breaking hours, that you’re lazy if you don’t.
I taught and learned so much more from the friends I made there and being an assistant after graduating!

Nothing better than when I have some down time in between clients to walk over to our local coffee shop and grab an iced mocha!
Also if your looking for a new romance/fantasy book you can stop by our neighbors
Or if you’re hungry go across the street for the best Vegan food!

A big myth is that having fun colored hair means your hair is damaged.
Having fun colored hair is not the damaging part because most fun colors have a conditioner base, so if anything, it’s more nourishing for your hair.
Lightning, the hair is where the damage can come in BUT you also don’t need to over lighten your hair to get a desired color. Better yet if you already have lighter hair, you don’t have to lighten your hair at all!
You can have long, thick, healthy hair and still have a little fun!🌈
*For all new vivid color clients I do have a free consultation so we can discuss hair goals
