9 years ago today I became self employed. I did a year apprenticeship with and took clients for a year, built my clientele 91% in the year and it’s grown ever since.
What a gorgeous/excruciating lot in life to be so opposed to doing things anyone else’s way I had no other choice but to do it all. I really don’t owe it all to anyone, I owe it all to everyone including myself. Total freedom and total responsibility have brought me to many tipping points of insanity and chaos of my own making but the highest highs that could only happen by me doing it my way.
My clients are my friends and family, I truly feel bonded to each and every one of you. My heart and books are full!!
With that being said I have closed my online booking to new clients. I will take new client requests and will have an intake form available. I just can only do so much and the limit has been reached! If you’re determined for me to be the one to do you hair and your’e willing to wait, I’d love to have you.
To my existing clients I have a new extension method, color consultation, full professional image consulting, and as always scalp treatments, extra pampering, your feet up, you can watch a show while you get your hair done, have lunch delivered, take a zoom meeting, not talk, talk my ear off, cry, laugh til’ we p**s our pants, et al.
The reason the person that does your hair is so important to you is because the last person to brush your hair was your mom. It’s a place you get to come to be nurtured as an adult, a safe place to share the darkest corners of your life and I can guarantee you, I’ve heard it all. So excited to continue spending my work hours with some of my favorite people on the planet.
