A well deserved retirement after three decades of service.

Accuracy serves as currency for breed associations, and Stacy Sanders’ nearly three decades of service helped Herefords cash in. With his expertise in his role as director of records, Sanders bolstered performance data and its predictions, ensured pedigrees were correct and piloted new programs to help producers’ record keeping.

Congratulations, Stacy!

The next generation is already thinking about what's next 💭

We were glad to welcome the Careers for Arkansas Livestock Leaders group to the American Hereford Association this morning. During their visit, students learned how breed associations serve cattle producers, support genetic progress and help move the beef industry forward. They also heard from AHA staff members about the many career paths available in agriculture.

The beef industry needs talented young leaders with a wide range of skills, and it was exciting to spend the morning investing in the next generation.

Stamped For More.

A multi-year study at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign underscores how Hereford genetics improve profitability, efficiency, fertility and longevity in commercial cow herds — while delivering the docility the breed is known for.

AHA’s new advertising campaign embodies these realities with a direct, powerful message — Hereford genetics stamp baldies with the indelible white face, which signifies more docility, fertility, longevity and efficiency.
