A year and a half later..

Today, I received a message from a former client that reminded me why I do what I do.

After being serviced for a year or so was able to identify the signs of severe hair loss and referred her to a dermatologist and hair loss specialist.

Since then she has received treatment that has been beneficial to her regrowth process. She has since found a team of providers closer to home who have continued caring for her hair and I couldn’t be happier for her.

While she’s no longer a client in my chair, I’m genuinely grateful to know that my recommendation helped lead her into a positive journey with service providers who are serving her well. That’s what it’s all about. Sometimes caring for a client means helping them find the right next step, even if that step leads them somewhere else.

As hairstylists, we don’t have to have all the answers. We just have to care enough to point people in the right direction when it’s needed.

To God be all the glory. Thank You, Lord, for allowing me to be a small part of someone’s healing journey. Messages like this remind me that purpose reaches far beyond the salon chair.
