Hi everyone! I just wanted to share our fundraising efforts for our beloved receptionist and friend Jean. I would really appreciate any consideration wether it be in donation, re-sharing her story or even just a prayer or well wish. As someone who lives daily with the struggles of chronic illness, I can’t imagine how hard it is to have her chronic illness now compounded by a second health crisis. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Gloss would like to welcome the very talented Tyler Carfi to our family!

Tyler Carfi’s career and passion will always be all things beautiful. His organic talent and creative ability led him to attain a cosmetology license shortly after graduating Berkeley College with a BBA in Marketing.
While building a successful career in the hair industry he also obtained a real estate license fueled by his desire for knowledge which has only increased now immersed in such an artistic field. Tyler has numerous certifications and continued education in keratin smoothing treatments, balayage, foiling technique, and color essentials at the Wella Global Institute, as well as classes with Oligo Professional, Lisa Walker (), and Ivan Hernandez (). Some of his passions include precision cutting, color correction, as well as event hair design. With almost ten years experience in the hair industry he has worked at two salons in northern Westchester as well as the upper east side of Manhattan. Tyler’s driven ability to create living art is the perfect addition to the dream team at Gloss.
