Don’t worry: Microblading is not permanent!

Not only do the two use different “inks”but they're also applied differently.

Traditional tattoos use concentrated tattoo ink, while cosmetic tattoos use smaller pigment particle. Microblading is performed in a more superficial layer of the skin, in the papillary dermis- while tattoos are done deeper, in the reticular dermis.

For this reason, although Microblading is long lasting, is not definitive.

💫There’s a lot to consider when selecting the right pigment for you, we must correctly identify where you land on the ‘ Fitzpatrick scale’ and your undertones. This will ensure ( although it is never 100% guaranteed) that your permanent makeup won’t heal too warm or too ashy. If you find yourself healing too warm or ashy this can be addressed on your second visit 4-6 weeks. 🤍

Healed Lips after first pass💋

When clients come for PMU procedure, one of the most ask questions is how long is it going to take to heal. It’s quite important to understand that the healing process in total takes about 4-6 weeks and it can be divided into 2 stages: superficial healing the one you can visibly see and the second stage is the internal healing. Superficial healing can last 3-5 days. Lips swell up during the procedure and it last for a few hours. Also, the lips start to peel during the first week and the pigment fades during those days. Then the internal healing stage start and it can takes up to 6 weeks. During this time the tissue heals completely and the pigment settle in and the color can change. Overall healing process length depends on the client skin, age, medication and other indications.
