Today, I evaluated 12 participants in the IBPA Beauty Award 2026, with 7 more to go. I decided it was time to take a short break.

This year, I have been honored to serve as a judge in the Hair and Salon categories, and I can truly say that evaluating talented professionals is not an easy task.

Every participant has their own strengths. Some stand out for their technical skills, others for their professional growth, business development, education, leadership, or client experience. What makes me especially happy is seeing how many talented and genuinely passionate professionals we have in our beauty industry today.

Some specialists achieve remarkable professional growth and reach an impressive level in a relatively short period of time. I know very well how much hard work, dedication, and persistence stand behind those results.

The desire to grow, the determination to become better, continuous self-improvement, and the willingness to work hard will always bring results.

As a judge, my responsibility goes far beyond simply giving points. I carefully review each participant’s work, experience, achievements, portfolio, and professional journey in order to provide a fair and objective evaluation and comment.

And most importantly, the final decision is not made by one person. The jury includes professionals from different countries. Each judge independently evaluates the participants according to established criteria, and the final result is based on the combined scores of the international judging panel.

Therefore, the winner will not be determined by one person’s opinion, but by the collective evaluation of an international panel of judges.
