2021. What a doozy of a year.

Like most people, I entered this year feeling confident, hopeful, excited for things to get better, and even for some normalcy; only to find that it would get worse.

In so many ways, this has been one of the hardest years of my life.
I've struggled to find purpose; 2 of my best friends passed away this year; entering toddlerhood and all the struggles that come with being a mom; being more financially insecure than I've ever been; stress; grief; unknowns; and just the feeling of struggling at every turn.

But this year has also brought some amazing joys into my life.
Staying at home with my girl, and being here for the moments that matter most; rekindling great friendships; getting closer to my favorite people; losing 45 pounds; bringing Norman into our lives; starting a business; and feeling my life align, and trusting my intuition more than I ever have.

I know that the stroke of midnight won't magically wipe 2021's slate clean, but I like the idea of new beginnings and fresh starts.

I'm not one to really make New Years Resolutions, but rather goals for the next year.

I have some big goals for 2022, and even though there will be ups and downs, I feel that 2021 has prepared me in ways I didn't know I needed to be prepared. The struggle of this past year has lit a fire in me to hustle harder, be more present, be more organized, and clear cut my goals so that this can be my most successful year yet.

Here's to you, 2022! And here's to all of us who are ready to do this!

Just over here feeling so so grateful that these are my people, and this was our Christmas. I didn't get pics of everyone (I'm so bad at remembering to take pics on holidays), but we had such a wonderful, chill day full of playing and family time.

Amidst the struggles of this year, this day was certainly a highlight, and a day I'll remember for a long time. I'm so grateful we were able to give our girl a Christmas full of love, togetherness and fun.

If you didn't get a Christmas card from us this year, its because we didn't send one 😂 I kept wanting to get more photos of us all together, and it just didn't happen. But that's ok! We love y'all anyway, and hope you had a wonderful Christmas too! 🎄❤

I've been reflecting on how grateful I feel for the people around me who love, care, and want to make me feel seen- not just on my birthday, but everyday! I am so grateful and humbled by y'all!
