A few days late posting, but October 1st officially marked FIVE years of Shades Hair Studio! 🥂

Five years of beautiful transformations, laughter, growth, friendships, challenges, and so many memories made behind these chairs.

What started as a dream has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of, and none of it would be possible without the amazing clients who continue to walk through our doors, support our small business, refer their friends and family, and trust us with their hair.

To every stylist who has been part of Shades along the way, thank you for being a piece of our story. And to our current team, thank you for helping make this salon what it is today.

Five years in, and we’re still growing, learning, evolving, and dreaming bigger.

To our amazing clients, friends, and community,

Amanda and I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who donated, sent meals, prayed, reached out, or simply kept our mom and our family in your thoughts during her battle with cancer. Your kindness and support have meant more to us than words can ever express.

With heavy hearts, we share that our beautiful mom peacefully passed away early Sunday morning, surrounded by her daughters and filled with love.

As we navigate this unimaginable loss, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding. We will be reaching out to clients as soon as we can to reschedule appointments while we take some time to grieve and be with our dad and the rest of our family.

Thank you for your grace, compassion, and continued support during this incredibly difficult time. We are so grateful for each and every one of you.

💚Support for Jackie & Amanda’s Mom💚

Many of you know Jackie and Amanda, and many of you have watched our family grow over the years. As some of you may know, our mom is currently battling stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma. This has been an incredibly difficult journey, and we are doing everything we can to support her through treatment and care.

In honor of our mom, we have bracelets available at the salon, along with a donation box for anyone who would like to contribute. All proceeds and donations will go directly towards our Mom.

We are so grateful for the love, prayers, and support from our amazing clients, friends, and community. Your kindness means more to us than words can express.
