Do you ever catch yourself feeling like you have to explain your life choices to other people?
Do you find yourself overexplaining your decisions, your boundaries, your healing, or the path you’ve chosen?

Recently, I realized I was still doing this.
At 38 years old, after two and a half years of healing my chakras, regulating my nervous system, doing inner child work, recovering from teenage trauma, and focusing on personal growth, I still caught myself slipping into old patterns of feeling like I needed to explain myself.
Then something clicked.
I don’t owe anyone an explanation for the life I’m living.
That realization wasn’t built overnight. It took years of healing, self-reflection, difficult conversations, and learning to trust myself.
For me, this wasn’t just about setting a boundary.
It was about breaking a cycle.
A cycle of overexplaining.
A cycle of seeking validation.
A cycle of believing I needed permission to live my life the way that feels right for me.
