This client wanted something ✨fresh✨ but also wanted to keep length. So I went in and gave her some soft layers and face framing with a razor. She wears her hair natural a lot but wants to blow it out some too. For her color we went full range hi-low calico giving Josie and the Pussycats and giving her 9 more lives.
Do you deprive yourself of care, love? I am guilty of this myself. I openly admit it to clients all the time. It’s not that I don’t care or even that I don’t have the time. It’s when I do have the time, there’s SO MANY OTHER THINGS I COULD DO. in reality I end up doing nothing because it feels good to do nothing once in a while. Look, listen, I get it… I haven’t colored my hair in months and the real reason is I deprive myself of love and care. I make myself the very last priority in that department. Maybe I just feel like I haven’t earned it? Idk…but it’s not ok. I hate when I hear clients say it so that means I can’t do it either. Can we just allow ourselves to love and care for our bodies without reason or explanation? Why do I constantly hear that women have to justify why they get their hair cut or colored every x/month(s)? Anyways, I support your need for self love, care, respect, growth, and awareness 💖
