NEW UPDATE ON STATUS OF HEADS-UP HAIR DESIGN WEDNESDAY JANUARY 29, 2025 Due to unforeseen surgery needed for Nelda, Opal and Nelda have retired as of December 31, 2024. Heads Up Hair Design is officially closed and will be put on market to be sold as soon as Nelda's health is back 100%. HEADS-UP HAIR DESIGN is a fully equipped 7 Stylist Hair Salon with a large sunny waiting room half mile from downtown Kennesaw, Georgia. Heads-Up has a great reputation of a very family friendly atmosphere for clients of all ages. Watch for updates on Nelda's progress.Thank you to all the stylists, clients, friends, family and neighbors that have been been a part of this great journey of Heads-Up Hair Design. A special thank you to Shirley Crowe who worked at Nelda's Salon of Beautee for 16 or 17 years.Nelda's Salon of Beautee was open for approximately 17 years when we needed more space and relocated to Heads-Up Hair Design.
Shirley moved with us to Heads Up Hair for approximately 17-18 more years until health issues required her early retirement. I have added a picture of girls working at Heads Up at time of Shirley's retirement. Lots of good food,fun and great fellowship. Nelda and Opal's retirement party also included Honoring Donna Galliher's years of working at Heads-Up shortened by back surgeries that prevented her coming back to work.Donna's customers and Heads Up Stylists had a bring a dish buffet following Donna's surgeries celebrating her recovery but limitations from her surgery prevented her returning to work at Heads Up.
Thank you to everyone that had any part of the 59 plus years i spent in a career i loved.Thanks again, Nelda and Heads Up Hair Design Staff.

EMILY'S EXCITING HAIR COLORS OVER THE PAST YEARS. Miss Emily has had many hair colors: highlights, lowlights, golden blonde, smoky platinum blonde and many fun colors but this is a completely new one for her! She challenged her students to raise $1000 for the school fundraiser. If they did, they got to choose her next hair color.The students exceeded their goal! "Here's their choice for Emily's hair: neon green!" Heads Up Hair Design color specialists Nelda Ayers-Guthrie and Opal Carlton enjoyed coloring Emily's hair bright neon green. We did not have such adventurous teachers when we were in Middle School!! WAY TO GO MISS EMILY.

Heads Up Hair Design color team Nelda Ayers-Guthrie and Opal added full head of soft golden blonde highlights to Merry's strawberry blonde hair. Her natural curly hair was blown out straight and then curled with large curling iron for loose tousled style.

Heads Up Hair Design color specialists Nelda and Opal blended Randa's roots with lightest golden highlights and light brown natural lowlights to enhance her chin length bob hair style.
