Some people think we’re a big chain or franchise because we have a cool logo and fancy website. Nope! We’re a local company and ONLY in Atlanta. Our “Executives” work in our stores every day. Who are they?

Josh Hudson, Chief Operating Officer
The Reverend Josh Hudson loved American Haircuts so much, he went to barber school and came to work for us! He gets this whole American Haircuts thing and will give you an amazing cut and a hard time on top of it. Josh is our COO, but he still cuts hair in our shops.

David Alexander, Chief Executive Officer
David’s been cutting hair since mullets were cool the first time. He’s trained barbers across the country, tricked Modern Salon and American Salon into featuring him, and somehow ended acting up on TV shows like Ozark, The Walking Dead, and NCIS: New Orleans—proving anyone can be a D-List actor if they hang around set long enough. He once shaved a record-breaking number of heads live on NBC’s Today Show on behalf of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. He juggles barbering and acting with the confidence of someone who’s equally obsessed with both and possibly great at neither.

Christian “Chiggy” Higgins, Chief Financial Officer
Chiggy doesn’t cut hair, but he knows things Josh and David don’t — at least that’s what he says. Nobody is quite sure what he does, but you can see him driving around in the American Haircuts Truck and dropping off supplies and cracking bad jokes. He also serves as our head of HR, payroll guy, bookkeeper, and chief bottle washer. We think. He keeps us paid and the lights on, so it must be him because David and Josh ain’t smart enough to not f**k that stuff up.

Our “Corporate Office” is the dining room in David’s kitchen and we take pride in being a local, diverse company you can find ONLY in Atlanta. Each of our four stores have a unique personality reflecting the local community.

Our 17th Annual St. Baldrick’s Kids Cancer Fundraiser is TONIGHT 6PM-9PM | PAINTED PICKLE ATLANTA

Seventeen years of shaving heads, raising hope, and fighting for a cure—let’s make this our biggest one yet!

If you haven’t signed up, there is still plenty of time! We also accept walk-in shaveers and donations.

If you are a shavee, come by the Painted Pickle anytime between 6pm and 9pm to get shaved and be a HERO for kids with cancer.
