💕💕 As a Lash Artist OG, there’s only so much we can do to guarantee that you retain your beautiful lash extensions. However, as a professional it’s also our responsibility to educate clients on the latest ways to ensure aftercare is followed. You and your lash artist must work as a team, or overtime the retention of the extensions suffers. Many clients do not think they need to do anything to their lashes after application and that they’ll last longer. Or that will last longer without them@getting wet at all. This is 100% a myth and can create a bacteria infestation and cause fill in application to be extremely hindered. It’s important to listen to your lash tech especially when new information comes out and new procedure is to be followed. This is your sign to toss away the ancient practice of washing with baby shampoo, (which I thought was dead af in 2016) absolute NO-NO, and use the lash wash/brush your professional recommends. It’s not a gimmick, it’s just the truth lash babies! Of course at EyeCandy we carry a foaming lash cleanser that contains antiseptic ingredients to keep yuckies off you and lashes that last.
