The Werkshop

I don’t know if this is just a getting older thing, or if I’ve really experienced a year of transformation of rediscovering and working on bettering myself and my life, but…

I have decided for my 40th birthday that I am (early) gifting myself the freedom from all of my social media platforms. ALL OF THEM.

I have learned that I have limited time and it is extremely valuable. I waste too much of it in utter mindlessness. It has become a toxin that I feel chained to. I’ve also learned that, for me, quitting an addiction cold turkey is best. I struggle with moderation (my husband Nick has coined me as “my extremist wife.”) 😂

I am in such a season of improving. And gratitude.
And positivity.
And light.
And freedom.
And love.

I want REAL people connections. I crave deep, deep conversations. This social media stuff is junk. It’s fake, and it’s clutter. It has managed to pull me away from things in my life that I love. And I am DONE.

By tomorrow morning I’ll have it all deactivated, and I can’t wait to feel the weight lifted off of my shoulders. I’m not deleting anyone, I’m just freeing myself ❤️
