✨UPDATE✨ . The time has come for me to take some rest before becoming a mama very soon! I am officially on maternity leave until November. I want to thank my team, clients, family, and friends who have supported me at work these past nine months! There have been many days where it’s been challenging but your support and encouragement truly helped me and I couldn’t have done it without you! . I am looking forward to this beautiful chapter of motherhood but I am also looking forward to seeing all my wonderful clients again! . My books will be open Tuesday & Thursday evenings starting in November but are filling up fast! Today we celebrated Lulu’s 1-year anniversary with us, and what an incredible year it has been! From day one, she has poured her heart, passion, and talent into everything she does. Her dedication, hard work, and genuine care for every guest and teammate never go unnoticed.

It only felt fitting to surprise her with yellow flowers, because she truly is a ray of sunshine who brightens our salon every single day. 🌻✨

We couldn’t let this milestone pass without celebrating someone who truly helps us the most.
Melissa is our salon coordinator, the backbone of our front desk, our problem-solver, our calm in the chaos — and yes, our “tough guy” when needed 💪
On any given day, she’s juggling multiple checkouts, answering nonstop calls, keeping the salon flowing, cleaning up after all of us, and handling tough situations with confidence and grace… all while making it look effortless.
Let’s be real — She makes big decisions, often behind the scenes, and carries more than most people ever see.
But what makes Melissa truly special? The relationships she’s built. So many of you walk through our doors and immediately look for her — and we don’t blame you 😊
She is a huge part of the experience at Kalon, and we are beyond grateful for everything she does.
