I wanted to share a little update—I’ve decided to start limiting my books so I can really focus on taking the best care of the clients I currently have.

If you’re already on my schedule, nothing changes! I’m just making sure I can continue giving you the time and attention you deserve ✨

For booking purposes, a current client is someone I’ve seen within the last 6 months or who is on a consistent schedule with me.

At this time, I won’t be taking on new clients for regular services. I will still be welcoming new clients for my sensory room services, which I’m so excited to keep growing 🌿

Also, a quick reminder—when booking, you must be signed into your Vagaro account. Any bookings made without being signed in will be denied. If you’re having trouble booking, please call or message the shop and we’ll be happy to help!

Thank you all so much for your support—it truly means the world to me. Let me know if you have any questions!

Went downtown to Millie Bo Peep! Got a bunch of sensory toys to use in the shop. Thank you, Millie Bo Peep, for being a partner for this beautiful adventure!

This is also the last weekend for their big Warehouse Sale!! Up to 80% off.

Ps. I really wish their pajamas came in my size 🤪

This is what I want the future of sensory haircuts to look like.

So often, it feels like there’s no choice but to push through—hold them still and just get it done. I’ve been there. I’ve done it countless times. But I also know there are other ways to reach the same goal.

This sweet friend came to me with parents who were willing to be patient and keep showing up. Together, we worked once a week, moving entirely at his pace, until trust was built. At first, we could only trim his bangs. Then he allowed me to gently reshape his hair with a razor. Eventually, we moved to scissor-only cuts. And now? He uses clippers like a pro.

In the beginning, haircuts could only happen after hours. That gave us the freedom to be loud, take unlimited breaks, and avoid unexpected noises like vacuums or blow dryers.

Today, he tolerates the clippers and lets me complete an entire haircut. He comes in at regular times now—not just at the end of the day. It’s still a little uncomfortable at times, but the wins are huge. Most importantly, he chooses it. He lets me do it.

I’m so excited to welcome more families into this kind of journey. Stay tuned for more information.
