A Little Summertime Salon Reminder ☀️💇🏼‍♀️

✨ I just wanted to share a little reminder about scheduling during the summer months. With my kids out of school, my summer salon schedule is much more limited than it is during the school year. Once school starts back up, my daytime availability opens up quite a bit — but for the summer, imagine trying to fit a full-time clientele into a part-time schedule! 🤍

✨ Because of this, my appointments tend to book out MUCH further during the summer. Same-week appointments are typically not available, so please try to plan ahead when booking.

✨ Evening appointments are currently booking about 3–4 weeks out, and weekend appointments can be up to 6 weeks out. If you know you have a special event, vacation, wedding, back-to-school plans, or just know when you’ll be ready for your next hair appointment, booking ahead is always your best option!

✨ I also want to give a kind reminder about cancellations and rescheduling. If you already have an appointment scheduled and need to make a change, please give me at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible. With my schedule booking so far in advance, it becomes harder and harder to fill an appointment when it’s canceled at the last minute.

✨ As a self-employed stylist, every appointment time is specifically reserved for you and your individual hair needs. I plan my day, my schedule, and often childcare around the appointments I have booked. During the summer, that can also mean arranging and paying for a sitter so that I can be at the salon for your appointment. When an appointment is canceled at the last minute and I can’t fill that time, I miss out on that income altogether — while sometimes still having the expense of childcare.

✨ I completely understand that life happens — kids get sick, emergencies come up, schedules change, and sometimes things are simply out of our control. I will always do my best to be understanding and work with you. I just ask for the same consideration for my time and schedule whenever possible. 🫶🏼

✨ I truly appreciate every single person who sits in my chair and continues to support my small business. Your patience, understanding, and willingness to plan ahead during these busy summer months means more to me than you know.
