Good Evening Friends and Family of Nails By Design. This announcement probably doesn’t come as a surprise to many of you; but it is time now. Effective immediately Nails By Design is closed. I can’t tell you how it breaks my heart to reach this conclusion but between my physical challenges, eyesight and loosing my actual location…the dominoes have fallen. In the last 30 years of doing nails, I watched kids grow up, weddings, graduations, anniversaries and much more. Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives. Dear Friends: I’m sorry I have neglected updating you about my health/injuries. Broken bones are healed and my strength is returning …..returning faster if I do my physical therapy as directed. My walker and I have become fast friends. But I developed a problem with my corneas called Fuchs Disease. The Dr doesn’t know why I got it (but I am quick to blame being stuck in the rehab center AKA “jail” - but she says there is absolutely no correlation). I don’t see well at all …but there has been improvement since treatments. Both the Dr and I are confident that I can get my vision back as we progress. I don’t “see” a re-opening soon though. Please keep your fingers crossed for my health and because any re-opening I have is going to be a PARTY!! I so miss you all.
