What comes to mind when you think of self care?

For me it use to be mean extravagant days of treating myself. Now I try and do little acts that make my day more enjoyable like spending less time on my phone, not saying yes to everything, reading, and so many other little things that are so simple but make a big difference.

Of course I still do things for self care that cost money, but making these seemingly little changes have made a bigger impact on my mental health than all of my “treat yourself” sessions ever did!

I’ve probably gone through this gallery 100 times since receiving it last night, because all the photos are just that good! .wells.photography always goes above and beyond!

When we did our first branding shoot I was still working part-time at a spa and sharing a room with 2 other therapist. Now almost a year later I’ve moved into my own room, and we were able to do our second shoot together.

Every day I’m so thankful for how far my practice has come, and for how far it is going to go! ✨

Hot stones are great to help release tension on a deeper level, relieve muscle pain, as well as calming the nervous system simultaneously!

Today is Bodywork by Sheridan’s one year anniversary! ✨

I never imagined this little business of mine being where it is today! I started my private practice in the middle of a pandemic, and fully expected to keep working my spa job for at least a year while I grew my practice. I ended up leaving my job 6 months after opening my doors!

So a huge thank you to everyone who helped get to where it is today! Couldn’t do it without you guys! 💖
