A few things I’ll always have an opinion about in this industry. 👀
1. Stop tearing other women down.
You don’t have to make another artist look bad to make yourself look good.
2. Your work should actually be YOUR work.
If you didn’t create it, don’t use it to sell what you can do. Your portfolio should represent your talent.
3. Clients are people, not numbers.
There is a woman with a story, insecurities, dreams, and hard-earned money sitting in that chair. Treat her that way.
4. Stop promising everyone $100K their first year.
Build the dream AND tell them the truth. Success takes skill, consistency, investment, marketing, resilience, and a LOT of work.
I don’t believe in shortcuts when it comes to building a career.
Do it honestly. Do it well. And leave people better than you found them.🤍
